I really wish I had friends like these to have car conversaions with. The few freinds I have who are into cars are of the stance ilk or are just into their car, so they know nothing besides that. Hence I don't bring it up. And thats not a generalization, I know it to be true.

Thankfully most of my noncar friends think a manual is cool. Most probably think Im crazy though. I probably am for driving both a 83 300TD and a Miata in Morgantown,WV.

Can't have enough friends. But no, I from Central PA. I do need to visit NYC(I've never been). My dad always avoids it when we are traveling through NY to see relatives.

Man I know what you mean. I have one car friend with similar car tastes. Almost everyone else is too narrow minded and my one car friend was a work friend at an old job and we never see each other in person anymore.

I know them feels. If I knew you were in Morgantown maybe I would have stopped by on my way home from buying my Miata in D.C. I took Rt 50 the whole way through west virigina last february to get to Chillicothe, Ohio.

Hey! We have some great driving roads. Rt. 50 through the eastern half of WV is a bit nuts though, at night, in a Miata, in Ferbruary, on Direzzas. Very sketchy considering it was my first day with the car and dudes in 3500 diesel trucks drive them through the mountains like they're trophy trucks.
